Eleanor Caitlin Heeps (born 4 August 2003) is an English footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Women's Super League (WSL) club Tottenham Hotspur.[1][2]

Early life

Heeps is from Crewe, Cheshire.[1] She attended Sandbach High School and Sixth Form College.[3] A goalkeeper, Heeps was shortlisted for Young Sports Achiever of the Year at the 2018 Everybody Awards.[4]

Club career

On 13 August 2021, Heeps signed for WSL side Tottenham Hotspur,[5] prior to joining Women's Championship club Backburn Rovers on loan for the 2021–22 season.[6][7]

On 21 October 2023, she joined Sheffield United until January 2024.[8]

On 24 April 2024, Heeps signed a new three-year contract with Tottenham.[9]

International career

In October 2021, Heeps represented the England under-19s in 2022 U19 Championship qualification matches in the starting eleven against Northern Ireland and as a substitute against Switzerland,[10][11] with England winning both matches and progressing to the second round.[12]
