The Edel Mountain is a South Korean single-place, paraglider that was designed and produced by Edel Paragliders of Gwangju. It is now out of production.[1]
Design and development
[edit]The Mountain was designed as a lightweight mountaineering descent glider.[1]
The models are each named for their relative size.[1]
Variants

- Mid-sized model for medium-weight pilots. Its 11 m (36.1 ft) span wing has a wing area of 25.14 m2 (270.6 sq ft), 33 cells and the aspect ratio is 4.8:1. The pilot weight range is 70 to 95 kg (154 to 209 lb). The glider model is DHV 1 certified.[1]
- Mountain 8000 L
- Large-sized model for heavier pilots. Its wing has an aspect ratio is 4.8:1. The glider model is DHV 1 certified.[1]
