Dzierżysławice [d͡ʑɛrʐɨswaˈvit͡sɛ], (German: Dirschelwitz, Silesian: Dziyrżysławice) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Głogówek, within Prudnik County, Opole Voivodeship, in southern Poland,[1] close to the Czech border. It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) west of Głogówek, 18 km (11 mi) east of Prudnik, and 38 km (24 mi) south of the regional capital Opole. Historically located in Upper Silesia, in the Prudnik Land.

Historically, it was known in Polish as Dzierżysławice and Dyrślowice.[2]

Since 2009, in addition to the official Polish language, German has also been recognized as an additional secondary language.[3]
