Dryophylax chimanta (also known as Roze's coastal house snake[1]) is a species of snake in the family Colubridae. The species is endemic to Venezuela[1][2] and only known from the Chimantá tepui.[1]

Etymology[edit]
This species is named after its type locality which is Chimantá Tepui, Bolívar, Venezuela.[2]
Also called Thermodynastes chimanta. [3][4][5]

Habitat and Behavior[edit]
D. chimanta is regarded as partly arboreal.[6]
Life cycle[edit]
Its reproductive cycle is viviparous.
