Producers in tracklisting

[edit]

After looking at To Pimp A Butterfly and how it formatted its tracklisting, I think it would be purposeful and beneficial to include the producers in the tracklisting. Looking at the writers credited, some of them may very have been producers rather than songwriters. This is only a hunch though, and I have not checked myself. Nevertheless, this is worth considering. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ayyydoc (talkcontribs) 05:08, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Ayyydoc: Yes, I'm sure it will be filled out by somebody soon. Nobody's saying it shouldn't be there. It just hasn't been done yet. Ss112 05:21, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The Metacritic score has decreased from 100 to 94, and there are now 10 reviews instead of 9 on the site. 98.10.109.211 (talk) 17:22, 16 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. MadGuy7023 (talk) 17:28, 16 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Missing Worldwide Steppers sample credit

[edit]

Worldwide Steppers also has a 3rd sample from Soft Touch's "Look Up Look Down". Seems to be an accidental credit that was not added. Probably will get added to the credits soon. It cannot be added to sample credits yet as sources are limited, and not in official album notes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by IceCuba (talkcontribs)

The Heart Part 5

[edit]

With the heart part 5 being a track on the album, should we consider this a single for the album, or should it still be classified as a promotional single? CG7000 (talk) 22:20, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@CG7000: No. Just because the song was added in the track listing doesn't mean it count as a single (See WP:SINGLE?). TheAmazingPeanuts (talk) 22:43, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

thank you for clarifying, i was just wondering.👍 CG7000 (talk) 08:56, 1 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Discs

[edit]

This album is one disc: The two sides of the album is purely an artistic choice. If you purchase it on CD, it's one disc. Same as Ice Cube's Death Certificate Spacecrunchies (talk) 23:23, 19 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Spacecrunchies Perfect example. Conceivably, your advice could've helped save money & resources—particularly by supplying the physical formats of this album. 153.33.133.24 (talk) 22:07, 30 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

When was it recorded?

[edit]

I know the current source, Sounwave's GQ interview, states the album was completed in May 2021. However, I always interpreted that as him saying the majority of the album was completed then - not that recording sessions ended then. Several songs reference events from later than May 2021 - “Mother I Sober” references Baby Keem’s song “Family Ties,” released in August 2021, and “Father Time” references Ye and Drake’s reunion concert, which took place in December 2021."[1] Meaning it's unclear when exactly the album was actually completed, and the Recorded section should say "Early 2019–2022". UndoubtedlyMe (talk) 05:22, 10 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@UndoubtedlyMe: I think you made a good point, I just changed it to simply 2019–2022 instead, since there are no confirmed dates on the recording of the album. TheAmazingPeanuts (talk) 06:55, 10 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The reception section is biased

[edit]

overall, the albums is seen as a disappointment compared to the previous Kendrick albums. There is no indication for that in the section 142.116.10.135 (talk) 14:55, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
