The Australian actress Mercia Deane-Johns is certainly `notable` having appeared in 20 films and dozens of TV series as well as having done a lot of stage work. There are dozens of links of Mercia Deane-Johns to other Wikipedia articles about series or films (Heatwave, Winter of Our Dreams, Last Cab to Darwin etc. etc.) she has appeared in. She has a detailed reference on the IMDb. She has worked with some very big names such as Nicole Kidman and Judy Davis – both of whom are on Wikipedia.Novak123 (talk) 16:26, 25 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
My article on Mercia Deane-Johns is showing as a `draft`. There were disambiguation issues which have now been resolved along with a correction to one of the actress's stage credits. The information is now accurate I believe and the subject is certainly notable having had a very long career in film, stage and music.Novak123 (talk) 11:07, 26 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
It shows as a draft because it is a draft. If it were moved to article space it would warrant deletion. It cites no sources at all (though it lists some), and therefore fails to demonstrate that she is notable. It also contains a lot of blatantly promotional language, which is unacceptable in an encyclopedia. Maproom (talk) 13:27, 26 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
This was moved to the Wikipedia: namespace today, by Novak123. i have moved it back. This is either a draft or an article when it is ready. Under no circumstances should it be in the Wikipedia: namespace which is for internal pages about how to manage the project, policy and guideline pages, essays about how to perform tasks, deletion discussions, and other such internal pages.
