Notability?

[edit]

There does not appear on the main page (nor in any searches I conducted) any evidence that the BLP subject meets any relevant standard for notability. I prod'ed the page (here), and User:FreeKnowledgeCreator deprod'ed it (here), noting that "If Nichols has been covered in the new york times and elsewhere, that suggests she may be notable." Although I agree that such quotes may indeed make such a suggestion, such quotes are not themselves sufficient to establish notability, and neither User:FreeKnowledgeCreator nor anyone else has provided any evidence of actual notability, as indicated in WP:NOTA, etc.— James Cantor (talk) 13:12, 30 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free to nominate the article for deletion if you wish. I find that AfD discussions often result in new sources (which help to establish notability) being provided. If the article is nominated for deletion, you will have to notify Jokestress, who created it. FreeKnowledgeCreator (talk) 20:17, 30 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
