[edit]I believe this topic is Notable because it has received extensive news coverage in my area. There have been numerous newspaper articles about the work that Isa Abbassi has done since being appointed by the attorney general last year.
I believe the citations 2, 5, and 7 are the three best sources to support notability. They are all independent newspaper articles that talk about Isa Abbassi’s career in the NYPD and his plan in his new role as the officer in charge of Paterson PD.
There has been controversy around Paterson PD and the hire of Isa Abbassi. A new law was passed last year which exempted him from certain training requirements. (Citation #14). NYYanks01 (talk) 13:14, 22 October 2024 (UTC)
