Zayd Mason is a musician, known mononymously as Zayd, is an Canadian singer, songwriter and guitarist. He is from the province of Saskatchewan, Canada.
Career:
[edit]Zayd launched his solo music career on March, 2020 by releasing his first single "Father". Which was highly successful and earned him numerous recognition.
Zayd started his music career at a very early age. He was mainly a guitarist and songwriter for other bands. However those bands were not committed enough. Over the years frustration grew for Zayd, as he was realizing that his creation will never see the light. So he decided to take vocal lesson to learn how to sing. He took break from music from 2015-2018. He gave himself enough time to learn and find his own style. Years of lessons paid off when he recorded his first single "Father" in 2019. However, Zayd decided to wait for another year before launching his solo career. His vision was to use music videos to share his message with the world.
Since the launch of his career, Zayd has released total of 14 singles to date. He was nominated for Metal Artist of the year in 2022 & 2023 by Saskmusic Awards.
Zayd is currently working on his 2024 release as announced on his Instagram.
