Zak James Mason (Born August 21, 2009), is an English musician, He released his debut album Condensed[1], an electronic dance album on August 14, 2023 to no commercial success, followed by the EP 'The Rejects'[2] (2023) and the singles 'Dynasty'[3], and 'M1nd'[4], which were all later featured on Condensed (XPANDED EDITION) (2023)[5]
Life and Career
[edit]2009-2021: Early life and family
[edit]Zak James Mason was born on August 21, 2009, in Winchester, England, He has an older brother, and a younger sister.
Growing up, Mason primarily listened to Pop Music, as well as Dance Music, Mason began singing at a young age, however rarely does so today.
His father left the household in August of 2019.
2022-2023: Career beginnings and the failure of Condensed
[edit]In 2022, Mason began to experiment with creating music, producing a large number of demo tracks, and compiled his debut album, an electronic dance record titled Condensed, which was released on August 14, 2023. Condensed was a commercial failure, with no advertisement or promotion, selling an estimated 4 copies. After the failure of his debut album, Mason released four new tracks which he would later add to Condensed, 'Rush', 'Flow', 'Dynasty', and 'M1nd'. Condensed (XPANDED EDITION) was released on October 16, 2023.[6] A promotional remix of the album's leading track 'breathe' was released on November 24, 2023[7]. Bringing a close to the failed era.
2024-Present: The aftermath of 'Condensed' and the present
[edit]After the failed era of Condensed, Mason was already considering quitting the music industry, and went on a 3 month hiatus. He came back to the industry, creating three new songs, 'Card', 'raise', and 'chip', for his three track EP, titled The card game, which was released on April 15, 2024.[8] A duo of tracks, titled, Highway (stylised as HIGHWAY) was released two months later, on June 12, 2024.
