Yusuke Nomura ( Nomura Yūsuke?) is Japanese manga artist (primarily illustrator) from Kyoto, Japan. He is currently employed by Kodansha ltd, and he is best known for his work in Blue Lock.
Manga career
Yusuke began his manga career as an assistant of Hajime Isayama who is known for his work on Attack on Titan. The series is one of the best-selling manga of all time and as of 2019 has accumulated over 100 million copies in circulation. In 2013, Yusuke made his official debut (One-shot) for his work 'Emperor of the Sands' which got published in the Weekly Shonen Magazine (2013, issue 18). Afterwards deciding to switch his interest to a manga illustrator. In 2014 alongside fellow manga artist Yukiaki Kurando launched a series called 'Dolly Kill Kill' which received publication from 2014 to 2017 in Manga Box, a popular manga mobile app which hosts popular manga series by Kodansha and Shogakukan. In 2018, alongside fellow manga artist Muneyuki Kaneshiro, he debuted a sports manga Blue Lock. Yasuke's artwork in the series has received a lot of praises from manga readers and he also attained an accolade at the 80th Weekly Shonen Magazine Newcomer Manga Award.
