  • Comment: The sourcing needs cleaning up of advertorial or churnalism content. As an artist, the sourcing should meet the general notability guidelines and WP:NARTIST. I do not see how one painting could possibly be enough to pass NARTIST. Netherzone (talk) 14:45, 18 August 2024 (UTC)

Yasodhara Pathanjali (born 1984) is a British-Sri Lankan life coach, educator, artist, and social activist. She is the co-founder of Independent Collective School ,[1] the first formal alternative school in Sri Lanka.[citation needed]

Early life and family

[edit]

Yasodhara was born in London, to Sri Lankan parents. She is the great grand-daughter of Harold Peiris, the founder of the Lionel Wendt Art Centre. She resides in Colombo, Sri Lanka with her husband and three children.

Art and creative work

[edit]

In 2018, Yasodhara painted the largest painting by a single artist in Sri Lanka, a mural of almost 100 m2 (1,100 sq ft), exploring the theme of "Wilderness".[2] Her work has also included painting, block printing, and children's books.[citation needed]
