[edit]In 1990, the family's first company manufacturer was founded in Syria by Mr. Ahmed Witte with an initial focus on olive manufacturing. Over the years, the company expanded its scope to include Arabic food production and manufacturing, diversifying its operations to address broader markets.
The company began its manufacturing operations with the establishment of its first production line in 1991. In 1995, it expanded its activities internationally, introducing its products to new markets outside its home region.
By 2006, Wetti Group had gained a substantial share of the Arabic dishes market in Europe, marking a significant milestone in its growth. This success was replicated in the United States by 2011, where the company achieved a similar level of market presence.
Wetti Group's history reflects its gradual evolution from a specialized manufacturer to a participant in the broader food production industry, with a focus on Arabic cuisine.
After closing the headquarter in Syria, the new headquarter and the factories are now in Türkiye with a headquarter in Mersin
