Walter I of Brienne (1020-1089) was the son of Engelbert IV of Brienne and Petronille. He was born in France in 1020.
Marriage and children
[edit]He married Eustachie de Tonnerre daughter of Milon III, count of Tonnerre and Azeka, countess of Bar-sur-Seine[1]
His children included:
- Engelbert of Brienne
- Erard I, Count of Brienne
- Milon II de Bar-sur-Seine
- Perrenelle of Brienne who married Thibaut, count of Reynel
- Mantia de Brienne, who married Fulk IV, Count of Anjou
