Walter Batie was a dancer.^[1]^[2] He performed comedy dance routines.^[3]^[4]

He performed in the tap dance duo Batie and Foster.^[5] They reportedly hung out at the Lenox Club with other performers.^[6] In 1933 they performed at New York City’s Geand Opera House.^[7]
