WPT Global is an online poker platform associated with the World Poker Tour. Launched in April 2022,[1] the platform offers real-money poker games on both PC and mobile devices. WPT Global operates in over 100 countries worldwide.[2]

WPT Global operates as the online poker platform for the World Poker Tour, providing digital access to poker games for players worldwide. As of August 2024, it ranks second in cash game traffic volume in the online poker industry, according to a review by PokerListings.[2]

WPT Global is known for employing an ecology management system designed to maintain the playing environment for it's users.[3] This ecology management system employs artificial intelligence tools to verify game integrity and a fair playing environment.[4] These tools are used to detect and prevent unfair practices, including the use of bots, real-time assistance (RTA), and collusion, while balancing the ecosystem between recreational and professional players.[3][5]

As of October 2024, WPT Global became the Title Sponsor of the Triton Poker Series[6] and the $25K NLH WPT Global Ultimate Slam.[7]

WPT Global is operated by SevenTip N.V., a company incorporated under the laws of Curaçao. The company holds a gaming license issued by the Curaçao Gaming Control Board.[8]

Offering

[edit]

WPT Global provides variations of Texas hold 'em and Omaha hold 'em poker, including short deck.[9] The platform also features online casino games, including slots, roulette, blackjack, and poker-themed exclusives like Poker Flips and Poker Master.[2] In June 2024, WPT Global launched a sportsbook, offering live and pre-match betting on major sporting events.[10]

Ambassadors

[edit]

WPT Global's roster of ambassadors includes poker player Phil Ivey, a 10-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner and WPT champion.[11] Other notable ambassadors include cash game vloggers Brad Owen and Ethan 'Rampage' Yau, as well as professional ice-hockey player Phil Kessel.[12][13]
