Viral Vasavada (22 April-1977) is an Indian author, script writer and journalist. His science based articles and books are very popular amongst the readers across the globe. He is considered as one of the fastest translators in Gujarat. His literary work is comprised in 34 books under various titles.

Viral Vasavada (pronounced [Veeral vasaavadaa]; born 22 April 1977) is an Indian Author, Columnist, Translator, former Journalist and Sub Editor of leading Gujarati Newspapers. Vasavada holds Master’s degree in Commerce and Bachelor’s degree in Law. He first gained popularity in the early 2000s for his multi colored articles published in ‘Gujarat Samachar’ and then science based popular column “Wavelength”, published in esteemed Gujarati Publication ‘Divya Bhaskar’. He has written 32 books on various subjects at the age of just 45 and are widely admired by the readers across the globe. His translation on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s biography, originally written by British Producer and writer Andy Marino is deliberated as one of the bestselling books on PM’s biographies. He has written two short films ‘Shodh’ and ‘Visiting Card’ with screenplay and dialogues.

Viral Vasavada made his debut in 1998, as a Journalist in ‘Gujarat Samachar’. As a result of his command over vernacular language, his regular column on multi colored subjects started in its half weekly supplementary ‘Shatdal’. Then he joined regional eveninger “Aajkaal’ as a Journalist and translator. He was then invited as a regular columnist for ‘Sandesh’, one of the leading newspaper in Gujarat. In the year 2003, ‘Dainik Bhaskar’ launched its Gujarat edition ‘Divya Bhaskar’ and Vasavada was called upon to serve as Sub Editor. His columns‘Wavelength’,‘Samwad’ and‘Science Safar’ are his remarkable literary work.

In addition to writing, Vasavada has worked as a casual comperer with All India Radio, Rajkot.
