This village is located on Deoband-Badgaon-Nanauta Main Road. Kachrai village on this road, is gateway to Gudamb village.Distance Kachrai to Gudamb is hardly 2 k.m. Nanauta railway station on Delhi-Shamli-Saharanpur railway track is only 7 k.m. from Gudamb village whereas Deoband Railway Station is 22 k.m. from this village.Nearest airport is Dehrdun and Delhi.One can reach this village within 3 Hrs from Dehradun and within 4 hours from Delhi by road. The village is populated by Tyagi. Kachrai village is a big Tyagi village too. Whereas other villages are populated by the PUNDIR Rajputs along with Tyagi community.
