Vall Owens is a former aspiring rapper turned Activist, Researcher, Spiritual Adviser, journalist and author, known for his incisive commentary on the hip-hop industry and unique outlook of the world. Growing up in Jacksonville, Florida, Owens was immersed in hip-hop culture from a young age, developing a deep understanding of its nuances and impact. After a brief stint working for DJ Khaled in 2014 as a web designer and consult, Owens pivoted to activism and journalism, leveraging his insider knowledge to provide unique perspectives on the music world. "Who Killed Rich Homie?" marks Owens' debut as an author, combining his industry insights with meticulous research to shed light on the systemic issues plaguing the hip-hop world. Drawing from his experiences both as an artist and a journalist, Owens brings a nuanced understanding to his exploration of Rich Homie Quan's tragic story. When not writing, Owens is promoting the growth of spiritual organization, Visualize.
