Vaccine law is an area of law that encompasses multiple legal disciplines relating to the regulation, commercialization, and deployment of vaccines, generally directed towards the public policy goal of protecting society from vaccine-preventable infectious disease.

Vaccination policy is an element of vaccine law specifically directed to efforts to promote the use of vaccines as measures to counter the spread of disease in human populations.
