Uppsala Peace and Development Student's Association (UPaD) is known to be one of the best student associations at Uppsala University. Founded on the 18th of April in 2012, UPaD has become an active student organisation for both bachelor students and those who are reading independent courses in Peace and Development. Members of UPaD can enjoy an endless range of activities, varying from gasques and networking opportunities to sports and pub crawls. The association "seeks to strengthen the bond between the students and the university" and aims to "enhance the experience" for students in Peace and Conflict and Development Studies.
