The untitled Halloween series is an upcoming American horror television series based on the Halloween film franchise. The series will be produced by Trancas International Films and Miramax Television. It is intended to be a reboot of the series.
Production
[edit]In October 2023, Miramax had beat out Blumhouse Television and A24 in acquiring the Halloween television rights, with the intention to develop a Halloween television series.[1] In March 2024, Miramax boss and producer Marc Helwig stated, "It's a creative reset completely and going back to the original film, as opposed to spinning out of any of the more recent film adaptations".[2]
Potential future
[edit]Mirimax and Trancas are seeing to potentially branch the series into a cinematic universe that spans both film and television.[1]
