The U.S. Courthouse and Federal Building[1] in Richland, Washington, is a federal courthouse and Taxpayer Assistance Center Office[2] used primarily by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington.[3] it opened on November 9, 1965,[4] at a cost of $1.8 million dollars.[citation needed] The building was initially constructed at an estimated cost of $2.6 million.[citation needed]
