The Type 90 Helmet is a war helmet used by the Imperial Japanese Army and the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II.[1]

Design

There are 2 versions of the this helmet, with the Imperial Japanese Army version possessing a Five pointed star[2] at the front of the helmet and The Imperial Japanese Navy Version possessing an anchor with a cherry blossom flower[3] at the front of the helmet. Normally, a cloth strap is used to hold the helmet in place of the wearer[4] . The Helmet is made of steel and fibre[5] and made to look like japanese kasa hats[6]
