Tom Quarry is an American professional basketball player for KK Tikvesh in the Macedonian First League. He attended Father Judge High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and graduated in 2018. He went on to play basketball at Johns Hopkins University, where he was coached by Josh Loeffler. He has previously played for Sporting Clube Vasco da Gama in the Portuguese Proliga.

Early Life and High School Career:

Quarry was born on October 1st, 1999 in Bensalem, the son of Tom and Heather Quarry. He attended Father Judge High School, where he broke the single-game scoring record in 2018. As a senior, he was named All-Philadelphia Catholic League. In addition, Quarry participated in the All-Star Labor Classic.

College Career:

Quarry attended Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland from 2018-2023. In his freshman season, he appeared in 25 games off the bench, averaging 3.8 points per game on 46.2% shooting from the field. In his sophomore season, he started all 28 games, scoring an average of 13.4 points per game on 60.2% shooting from the field and 40.3% on 3-point field goals. He was named Second Team All Centennial Conference and his team won the 2020 Centennial Conference Championship, finishing with a record of 24-4. He also tied the school record for most 3-point field goals made in a game with eight against McDaniel on November 26th, 2019. The 2020-2021 Johns Hopkins basketball season was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In the 2021-2022 season, Quarry started 26 out of 27 games, averaging 13.1 points per game while shooting 50% from the field and 42.9% from the 3-point line. He was named First-Team All Centennial Conference and his team won the 2022 Centennial Conference Championship, finishing with a record of 23-4. In the 2022-2023 season, Quarry started 22 games and averaged 14.6 points per game. He recorded his 1000th point on January 7th, 2023 against Haverford. He was named First Team All Centennial Conference and First Team All Region 5 by the NABC. He left Johns Hopkins as the 13th leading scorer in school history and 1 of 7 players to be named First Team All Centennial Conference twice.

Professional Career:

In 2023, Quarry signed with Free Agency Basketball agency. After going undrafted in the 2023 NBA Draft, Quarry signed with Portuguese club Sporting Clube Vasco da Gama on June 21st, 2023. In his first season with the club, he appeared in 21 games, averaging 17.1 points per game, 6.4 rebounds per game, while shooting 49.0% from the field, 49.2% from the 3-point line, and 84% from the free-throw line. He was the named the Portuguese Proliga Player of the Week on October 15th after scoring 36 points, making 9 threes in his professional debut in a league game vs Sampaense.

On August 30th, 2024, Quarry signed with North Macedonian club KK Euro Nickel 2005 Kavadarci, previously known as KK Tikvesh for the 2024-2025 Prva Liga season.
