Tiny Monsters is an American alternative rock band formed in 2022 in Seattle, Washington. The band consists of Philip Sudore (guitar), Tim Funk (drums), Matt McKay (bass), and Iris Kymm (vocals). Known for their eclectic mix of styles and inclusive approach to genre, Tiny Monsters blends elements of alternative rock and pop rock to create a unique sound.

History

Formation and Early Years

Tiny Monsters was formed in 2022 in Seattle, Washington. The band's members, hailing from diverse musical backgrounds, came together to create a new sound that incorporates a variety of genres. Their collaboration quickly gained attention for its innovative approach and dynamic performances.

Debut Release

On August 19, 2024, Tiny Monsters released their debut single, "Running with the Wind." The track was recorded at Bear Creek Studio in Seattle, Washington, a notable location where bands such as Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, and The Lumineers have also recorded. The release was celebrated with a launch party at The Spot in West Seattle, featuring a sponsored speaker event by Mackie’s Showbox.
