Thilaka Kudahetty (තිලක කුදාහෙට්ටි, 1937-2024) was a Sri Lankan novel writer and author; he was active until 2024. His works include; Buddhist literature (such as Baratha Yogi Swama Rama^[1], Pujya Aacharaya Mun Bhuridatta Theranuwo^[2] and Sitha Saha Bhavanawa^[3]),

Theological works (Did Anne Frank Incarnate?^[4], The Secret Path^[5], A search in secret Egypt^[6]) and novels, (Gamdora Andaraya^[7], Akaala Meghaya^[8], Diva Saelu^[9], Hansayo Igilethi^[10], Viaewula^[11], Kalu Bambaru^[12]).

He has published over 50 Books^[13]. Most of them being, Buddhist Literature^[14] and Theological works.

Born in Baddegama, Galle, Kudahetty got his primary, secondary and tertiary education at Richmond College, Galle from 1948 to 1961. was working as a Deputy Postmaster in the General Postal Department, He also worked at Sri Lanka post and Telecommunications Services Union.

Early life & Career

Mr. Kudahetty was born in 1937 in Baddegama South, Galle. He went to Richmond College, Galle and completed his education there. He then started to get fond of literature and took trips abroad for inspiration. He has also visited a town called Rugby, in the United Kingdom.
