The Magic Order is an upcoming streaming television series on Netflix created by Lindsay Beer, based on the comic book of the same name by Mark Millar and Olivier Coipel.

Plot

Five magician families sworn to protect our world must battle an enemy who’s picking them off one by one. By day they live among everyday people as neighbors, friends and co-workers, but by night they are the sorcerers, magicians and wizards that protect us from the forces of darkness, unless the darkness gets them first.

Production

On May 16, 2019, Lindsey Beer was set to write and showrun the televison series adaptation of Mark Millar’s The Magic Order for Netflix, with Beer producing the series with James Wan, Michael Clear, and Rob Hackett through Atomic Monster Productions and Wan is set to direct the pilot episode.[1] On May 6, 2021, it was announced that that series would be re-developed in May 2021.[2]
