Draft:The E-Logical Cinematic Universe

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The E-Logical Cinematic Universe (sometimes abbreviated as ELCU) is a cinematic universe created by CG-17 Productions, led by its founder, Hospitalit_y. The cinematic universe utilizes multiple mediums to tell a story about oppression, human psychology, and death.

Plans for a large scale multi-project universe go back as far as 2019, but only began to come to fruition in 2023. In just 4 months, a web-series and Five Nights at Freddy's fan game were released as part of the cinematic universe. The initial launch was unsuccessful and on April 6th, 2024, Hospitalit_y took down all content relating to the ELCU in a fit of rage and seeking to improve upon the content for when a second chance comes around. All Tweets, public Discord messages, GameJolt posts, and YouTube content pertaining to the E-Logical Cinematic Universe were taken down in this purge to hide any evidence of the failure that Hospitality dubbed "Take One."[1]

Unfortunately, Hospitalit_y's Twitter account was falsely suspended the same year on May 20th, after a group of internet trolls went on a mass reporting spree. As of November 8th, 2024, it hasn't been recovered and he uses a different account now.[2]

Since then, only one piece of content has re-appeared relating to the ELCU, that being a 6 and a half minute long YouTube video simply titled CAMS.[3] The video contains what seems to be security camera footage of a building recorded onto VHS, before abruptly changing to a portion of an episode of Brain Game. The video then ends before the first commercial break.
