The Boy is a studio 12" EP by British musician Mark Knopfler.[1][2] It was released on 20 April 2024 as part of Record Store Day with 3,000 copies pressed worldwide. The tracks revolve around boxing and fairground boxing booths where members of the public could take on a professional fighter, and if they lasted three rounds, they got paid.
The Boy was released as a standalone EP for Record Store Day following the release of Knopfler's tenth album One Deep River.
