The Black Hole Group is a Singapore hospitality group[1][2] that privately owns and manages several restaurant and cafes including Tipo Pasta Bar and (working title). The company's mission is to create culinary concepts, celebrate artisanality and cultivate experience.
History
[edit]The first company was founded by Mustaffa Kamal and Calvin Seah from Singapore in December 2012 as Dapper Private Limited with the objective of owning and managing Shophouse The Social Hostel, a boutique hostel located in the heritage area of Kampong Glam. The hostel was subsequently sold in 2017.
In August 2013, Working Title Private Limited was incorporated and the founders started their first food and beverage concept, (working title), a Melbourne-inspired burger, brunch and coffee cafe below the hostel. Over the following years, the company continued to expand across different cuisines and concepts.
With a myriad of lifestyle brands and a growing team under their belt, the founders created The Black Hole Group collective in 2016.

Brand
[edit]The name The Black Hole Group was created by a previous employee who was taken by the company's culture and concepts of sucking its people and patrons in like a black hole.
The thumbprint is the logo for The Black Hole Group, with the different ridge patterns symbolising the unique individuals that make up the characteristics of the group to create a single identity.
