"Uncommon Union" the Alternative Rock band has just recently released their brand new single "Puppets on a String". This song strongly emphasizes the fact that the media seems to control us, and we must break free of it. The band currently consists of members Blake Mclees, Zac Wheeler, and Decklan (their newest edition). Blake Mclees is an amazing guitarist and lyricist with some serious skills, he produces all their songs in a home studio and is the leader of the band. Zac Wheeler is their bassist, lyricist, and media/cover designer. The name Uncommon Union references the fact that being Christians they are "Uncommon" in this day and age, and the band wanted to emphasize how being Christians may be hard, but with God they are stronger. Forming in others words a "Union of Christians." Uncommon Union also closely relates to bands such as, Colony House, Arctic Monkeys, Switchfoot, Radiohead, and other similar artists. Though the band is not labeled as a "Christian Band" all members are Christian.
