The Anh Phan (born December 22, 1988) is a Vietnamese marketing author, lecturer, and travel influencer..[1] The Anh Phan is a scholar whose work focuses on sustainable consumption, cause-related marketing, and influencer marketing. [2]
He has no intention of abandoning his role as a lecturer to become a full-time travel blogger, as sharing and creatively imparting knowledge and passion is his sustainable goal. He received a global scholarship from Woosong University for outstanding master's degree graduates and a full doctoral scholarship for seven years of study at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Taiwan. He also holds the title of Busan Tourism Ambassador.[3]
Career
[edit]The Anh Phan completed his Ph.D. at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, in 2024, with a dissertation titled The Construal Fit Effect between Emotions and Past Experience on Consumer Preference of Cause-Related Products.
His research focuses on Vietnam[4][5], experiential learning [6][7], and consumer behavior [8]. He has been on the faculty at Becamex Business School, Eastern International University, since 2015, and became Coordinator for the Marketing Concentration in 2022. [9]
The Anh Phan has built a remarkable portfolio of global adventures. In 2019, he was honored as the Tourism Ambassador of Busan, South Korea, recognizing his significant contributions to tourism and travel advocacy.[10] Reflecting on his time in Taiwan, he appreciates its cultural similarities to Vietnam and its welcoming environment for international students. His personal journey highlights a blend of professional dedication and a passion for exploration, establishing him as a significant figure in both the academic and travel influencer communities. [11]
His philosophy is that being a travel blogger is akin to running a business, where passion and effort yield rich cultural knowledge and diverse culinary experiences. He emphasizes the importance of creating unique content that resonates with audiences. The Anh Phan advises aspiring travel bloggers to invest time and passion in their work, encouraging them to view video creation as an art form requiring experimentation and creativity. The Anh Phan produces content across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, each tailored to showcase different aspects of travel and culture.
