YouAreAnIdiot was a trojan horse in 2009-2012. When the user goes on the website, the trojan would show text saying "you are an idiot" with 3 smiley faces, and the browser window would bounce around the screen. If the user tries to close the browser, it makes 6 more smaller windows which also bounce around the screen. Hitting Alt+F4 shows text saying "You are an idiot!". This trojan uses up all of the system resources, causing the computer to freeze.
YouAreAnIdiot can be removed by rebooting the computer, or killing the browser process in task manager.
The harmful scripts were removed from it in 2012. There are also alternate versions of this malware, containing shock content.
