Thanksgiving 2 (stylized as Thanksgiving II) is an upcoming American comedy horror slasher film set to be directed by Eli Roth who is also producing and co-writing the movie along with Jeff Rendell.[1] Two stars of the first Thanksgiving film Nell Verlaque (Jessica Wright) and Rick Hoffman (Thomas Wright)[2] are expected to reprise their roles.[3]
Production
[edit]In an interview with IndieWire, Roth shared updates on the sequel Thanksgiving 2. He confirmed that several actors from the original film would reprise their roles and announced that filming is scheduled to begin in March, with the script already completed. Regarding the production, Roth stated that the sequel would be produced on a modest budget and would not require extensive background elements.[4]
It will be produced by Spyglass Media Group and will serve as a direct sequel to Thanksgiving. It is set to release in the US by TriStar Pictures and Sony Pictures.[5][6]
