Early life
[edit]Nivison was born on January 16, 1998[1], growing up near Boston, Massachusetts.
He graduated from Ithaca College in June 2020 with a B.A. in Cinema and Photography.[5]
Nivison's passion for content creation began in 7th grade from consuming Freddie Wong's YouTube videos. On March 6th 2022, Freddie Wong was invited as a guest onto his podcast, Chuckle Sandwich.[6]
Career
[edit]Before YouTube
[edit]In 2016, Nivison directed the comedic short film Medieval Paparazzi.
YouTube
[edit]On January 16th, 2013, Nivison created his main YouTube channel under the name JehBerDeh, a nickname from camp spelled phonetically. Nivison did not find success on the platform for years and grew discouraged at the notion that he would not find any, however while on the Solitary Confinement Podcast, fellow YouTuber CallMeCarson encouraged Nivison to continue doing what he was doing, as he believed in his content. With more frequent uploads, Nivison began to find success and began growing a fanbase, deciding to ditch the moniker "JehBerDeh" in favour of his name.[citation needed]
On August 30th, 2019, Nivison hit 100,000 subscribers.[7] On July 1st, 2021, Nivison hit 1 million subscribers.[8]
In 2022, YouTube content creators Eddy Burback and Ted Nivison visited and ate at every Rainforest Cafe location in North America, which was chronicled in two videos that went viral.[9][10][11][12]
In 2023, YouTube content creators Eddy Burback and Ted Nivison took a road trip to visit and eat at every single Margaritaville in the United States and Canada, chronicling their journeys in two separate videos, similar to their adventure the previous year visiting every Rainforest Cafe in North America.[13]
Podcasting
[edit]Lunch Club
[edit]On January 25th, 2020[14], Nivison co-founded the Lunch Club Podcast, a comedy podcasting group featuring a plethora of popular YouTube creators, including CallMeCarson, the founder of SMPLive, a popular Minecraft server that introduced Nivison to most of the creators in the comedy podcasting group. After allegations of sexual misconduct were raised against CallMeCarson, the podcast was indefinitely discontinued, with the final video produced by the group releasing on November 11th, 2020 — less than one year after the podcast's founding.
Chuckle Sandwich
[edit]Chuckle Sandwich is an American comedy podcast founded on January 30, 2021, by Jschlatt, Ted Nivison and Slimecicle, all of whom were previously members of the, now defunct, Lunch Club podcast[15] and who have been consistent collaborators on the YouTube platform over the past few years. The podcasters all live in different US States, so the majority of episodes are recorded digitally over video call. Most episodes involve the co-hosts talking about recent events or comedy-based topics, while others involve interviewing a guest star. The podcast has featured popular creators, past and present: from filmmakers like Freddie Wong to livestreamers like Ludwig Ahgren. On the 54th episode, Slimecicle announced that he had departed the podcast to pursue other projects.[16]
