Draft:Team Brady E1

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
  • Comment: Well done on creating the draft, and it may potentially meet the relevant requirements (including WP:GNG, WP:NCORP) but presently it is not clear that it does.
As other reviewers have noted, Wikipedia's basic requirement for entry is that the subject is notable. Essentially subjects are presumed notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject. To properly create such a draft page, please see the articles ‘Your First Article’, ‘Referencing for Beginners’ and ‘Easier Referencing for Beginners’.
Please note that many of the references are not from sources that are considered reliable for establishing notability and should be removed (including blogs, company websites, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Spotify etc).
The draft does not appear to show that the subject has any notability beyond the average coverage for similar organisation (see WP:ROTM).
Also, if you have any connection to the subject, including being the subject (see WP:AUTOBIO) or being paid, you have a conflict of interest that you must declare on your Talk page (to see instructions on how to do this please click the link).
Please familiarise yourself with these pages before amending the draft. If you feel you can meet these requirements, then please make the necessary amendments before resubmitting the page. It would help our volunteer reviewers by identifying, on the draft's talk page, the WP:THREE best sources that establish notability of the subject.
It would also be helpful if you could please identify with specificity, exactly which criteria you believe the page meets (eg "I think the page now meets WP:NCORP criteria #3, because XXXXX").
Once you have implemented these suggestions, you may also wish to leave a note for me on my talk page and I would be happy to reassess. Cabrils (talk) 23:55, 31 October 2024 (UTC)

Team Brady is an electric boat racing team competing in the E1 Series[1], a global championship using hydrofoiling boats that compete against each other to raise awareness of the impact of climate change on rivers, lakes, and oceans.[2] The team was founded in 2024[3] and is owned by 7-times NFL Super Bowl Champion, Tom Brady[4][5].

The team made history by winning the first ever E1 World Championship race in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.[6] They subsequently became the 2024 UIM E1 World Champions[7][8] after winning three races across the season[9].

Other notable achievements include being the first ever back-to-back winners in the series[10] and the first team to take two fastest lap points in one season[11].

Team sponsors include the American consumer goods and food delivery company, GoPuff as well as motorsport brands, OMP Racing[12] and Bell Helmets[13].

2024

[edit]

For the 2024 season, the team fielded W Series competitor[14] Emma Kimiläinen[15] and powerboating champion[16] Sam Coleman[17].
