Sydney Gates (born May 31, 2001) is an American screenwriter, actress, filmmaker, and indie R&B artist known by her stage name Aisyla Arriet. She is recognized for her contributions to independent filmmaking and music, with notable projects including her short film Runaway and her upcoming web series Conditional.

Early Life and Education

Gates was born on May 31, 2001, in Thomaston, Georgia, and spent her childhood between Woodbury, Georgia, and Columbus, Georgia. She attended Shaw High School in Columbus, graduating in 2019.
