Draft:Super eruption (teeth)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A super eruption (also called supra-eruption) happens when a tooth doesn't have a tooth opposite it to bite against.[1] The super erupted tooth starts moving toward where the missing tooth should be over a period of weeks or months.

This is a factor dentists have to consider when placing a dental implant in the gap opposite a super erupted tooth.[2]
