Draft:Sultan al-Malki

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
  • Comment: When referencing, the cited source must actually support the information against which it is cited. There is no point in simply citing a website home page: for example, ref #5 should point to a URL which confirms (FWIW) that "the editor-in-chief of Al-Mowaten [...] encouraged [al-Malki] to study journalism", whereas the URL it currently points merely confirms that a website for the Al-Mowaten newspaper exists at that domain.
There are other examples of this, leaving much of the draft content effectively unreferenced.
Google search is not a valid source, since it is different each time and for each user. Cite actual sources, please, not a search portal to possible sources. DoubleGrazing (talk) 08:28, 14 September 2024 (UTC)

He is also the managing director of Ejaz Electronic Publishing Company [4], which owns the newspaper and several prominent social media accounts.

On April 16, 2019, he was featured on the MBC channel, where he discussed the motivations behind launching the English version of the Saudi newspaper "Ajel" where he claimed the aim was to expand the reach to non-Arabic-speaking audiences both within Saudi Arabia and abroad, providing accurate facts and information about the Kingdom from the inside[5]

Al-Malki conducted the first-ever interview for a Saudi newspaper [6] with Pope Tawadros II, the Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the Egyptian Orthodox Church [7]. During this interview, Pope Tawadros praised the modern changes in Saudi Arabia, describing them as "progressive." He also highlighted the importance of Saudi-Egyptian cooperation in facing regional challenges, including foreign interference and terrorism, which threaten national unity and people's right to live

Additionally, on April 2, 2011, Al-Malki appeared on Bahrain's national television, where he criticized the Bahraini newspaper "Al-Wasat" for plagiarizing Saudi news stories and misrepresenting them as related to events in Bahrain, with the intent of stirring public opinion during the 2011 protests in the Kingdom of Bahrain[8]
