Sudheeran Prayar (25 May 1975), better known as “Nostalgic Artist” is an Indian painter, sculptor and lyricist. Sudheeran Prayar is talented in handling various art medium like watercolor, oil, acrylics, pastel, pencil and ancient traditional natural colors etc. He is a great fan of cubism and Kerala traditional mural art. He preferred all subjects for his creativity in realistic and surrealistic ways and he expressed his talent in recreating lost village views & monuments as same as they exist in the past periods. So, the public called him “Nostalgic Artist”.

Biography

Sudheeran Prayar born in a village called Prayar in Alappuzha district of the south Indian state Kerala, to Sudhakaran Achary and Sreedevi, as their elder son. During his childhood, he was influenced by the painting of Raja Ravi Varma and Artist Namboothiri and he follows a unique self-toughed way by hardly deviating theoretical rule of art to get freedom in expression in different medium. Other than these, he wrote many poems and songs in Malayalam. He completed his schooling from K.V Prayar Lower primary school and R.V.S.M High School Prayar. He obtained a bachelor's degree in Botany (B.Sc.) from M.S.M College, Kaymakam. Sudheeran Prayar did a series of odd jobs for pocket money: advertising activities, computer coaching and tuition teaching. After marriage he moved to Qatar as a Health & Safety Professional because it paid him five times more than what he was making in India. When he is continuing the job in Qatar, in free times, he fully focused on art works and writings and conducted many art exhibitions in Qatar and India. At the same time, he released many musical albums and published a number of poems. Currently he is working in Qatar as a Health & Safety Professional.
