Stanislav Makovsky (born January 3, 1988, in Yurga, Siberia, USSR) is a composer and multi-instrumentalist known for his innovative work in contemporary classical music and film scores. He integrates traditional orchestration with modern electroacoustic techniques, making him a sought-after composer in experimental and genre cinema.
He studied cello and music theory at the Kemerovo Music College, composition under Yuri Kasparov at the Moscow Conservatory, and further developed his craft at the Paris Conservatory (CNSMDP), studying under Stefano Gervasoni and other prominent figures.
Makovsky has collaborated with ensembles such as Multilatérale, Les Métaboles, and the Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble. His works have been featured at international festivals, including the Darmstadt Summer Courses and ManiFeste at IRCAM
