Spotfund Technologies Inc. (Spotfund) was founded in 2015 by Brian Belardi, Mike Marian, Sanford Kunkel. The company is headquartered in New York City.

The company is an online fundraising and crowdfunding platform. It allows its users to create fundraisers for various causes – setting goals, telling their story, and sharing their page with their network.[1]

Spotfund's last deal type was early stage VC for 2.66M. One of Spotfund’s competitors is GoFundMe, a Private Equity-Backed company based in San Diego, CA.[2]

Several well-known organizations trust the Spotfund landform to do their crowdfunding – such as Miss America.[5]

One of the most well-known crowdfunding campaigns that were hosted on the platform was for Olympic gold medalist, Mary Lou Retton, which has has raised $459,354 as of May 23, 2024.
