If you need help editing or submitting your draft, please ask us a question at the AfC Help Desk or get live help from experienced editors. These venues are only for help with editing and the submission process, not to get reviews.
If you need feedback on your draft, or if the review is taking a lot of time, you can try asking for help on the talk page of a relevant WikiProject. Some WikiProjects are more active than others so a speedy reply is not guaranteed.

The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) is a federal law that ensures students with disabilities receive a free and appropriate public education tailored to their individual needs. Under IDEA, there are 14 categories of disabilities that qualify students for special education services. These categories include conditions such as autism, specific learning disabilities, emotional disturbance, and visual or hearing impairments, among others. Each category encompasses unique characteristics that affect a student's ability to learn and participate fully in the classroom, guiding the development of individualized education programs (IEPs) and necessary supports.
