Soul Jive is an Afrojazz and AfroFusion band from Malawi, known for their innovative fusion of traditional African rhythms with contemporary jazz elements. Founded in 2023 August, the band has gained recognition for their energetic performances and unique sound. They have performed at major events such as the Mountain Festival, showcasing their talent on a bigger stage.

History

Soul Jive was formed in 2023 in Lilongwe, Malawi. The band was initially brought together by It's Leader Kimm, who envisioned creating a unique sound that blended traditional African music with modern jazz influences. Over the years, Soul Jive has evolved, incorporating various musical styles and expanding their lineup to include talented musicians from different backgrounds.
