Soteli is a 2014 Pakistani television series premiered on ARY Digital. Produced by Wajahat Rauf and Shazia Wajahat under the banner of Showcase Productions, it stars Deepak Perwani, Sabreen Hisbani and Ayesha Khan in lead roles.

Plot

"Soteli" is a poignant tale about a couple who, after much prayer, celebrate the birth of their son. However, the mother (Sabreen Hisbani) soon leaves them due to a terminal illness. This traumatic event causes the pampered son (Aashir Wajahat) to become emotionally disturbed. The situation deteriorates further when the father (Deepak Perwani) remarries, and the boy suffers more from his stepmother's (Ayesha Khan) harsh treatment. Despite the father's eventual realization of the impact on his son, the damage to the boy’s psyche is irreversible.
