Sophie Boissard (born Sophie Antoinette Bombois, 11 July 1970 Paris ) is a French general manager and senior civil servant . She has been the head of the Korian group since January 26, 2016, and the general manager of the Clariane group since June 2023.
Career
[edit]She was a student at the École Normale Supérieure from 1989 to 1993, and at the École nationale d'administration, from 1994 to 1996. She holds a degree in German , a DEA in contemporary history, and a diploma from the Institut d'études politiques de Paris .
From 1996 to 2003, Sophie Boissard was an auditor and then master of requests at the Council of State , rapporteur at the litigation section, then government commissioner at the litigation section, at the same time member and then president of the legal mission of the Council of State, from 1999 to 2004, at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. She delivered her conclusions there as government commissioner on the Papon affair.
From 2004 to 2005, she held the position of deputy director, then director of the office ofGérard Larcher , Minister Delegate for Labor Relations . From May to July 2007, she briefly held the position of advisor responsible for studies and forecasting in the office of Prime Minister François Fillon before becoming, Deputy Director of the office of Christine Lagarde , Minister of Economy, Finance and Employment, as responsible for matters related to employment, labour market reform and industrial development.
In September 2008 , she joined the French National Railway Company (SNCF) as Director of Rail Strategy and Regulation.[1]
On January 26, 2016, she became CEO of the Korian group. In 2019, she received a gross annual salary of 1 million euros.[2][3]
She is CEO of Clariane Group.[4][5]
