SixthManJake is a popular social media influencer focused on sports news and memes, the nba, and the broader cultural landscape in the present day media. Jake first rose to fame on the platform X (formally known as twitter).[1]

SixthManJake is an avid Lakers fan as well as a Dodgers and Rams fan. He has gone viral many times online especially in conversations surrounding sports. His most viral posts are often reposted on other platforms such as instagram on major accounts such as house of highlights.[2]

Jake is a 23 year old native of Los Angeles, CA. He attended Calabasas High and then went on to the University of Michigan where he studied psychology, communications and media. He also attended the Ross School of Business at Michigan and received a master's degree in management.[3]

Jake has had many social media accounts over the last few years that grew traction in the sports world, including multiple on X, a tiktok account, and streaming accounts on Playback. In 2024, SixthManJake partnered with another social media referred to as TruthTakes_, to host basketball streams online during Lakers games, his favorite team growing up. The streaming rooms have gained traction in recent months, including his main channel "Playoff LAL" focused on the Lakers.[4]

SixthManJake is most known for his online presense on tiktok, where he has generated 600 million impressions in 1.5 years since his account creation, along with 18.5k followers. He has been known to troll people online with nba related rumors, trade scenarios, and hot takes.[5] He also is known for finding the best new clips and moments from the nba and discussing them online in a humorous manner.
