Sivakarthikeyan confirmed his reunion with Cibi after Don (2022) during the promotions of Amaran in early November 2024, under the film's working title, as it is the actor's 24th film as a leading actor. Principal photography is scheduled to commence after the actor completes his commitments for SKxARM.

[edit]After the success of Don in mid 2022, director Cibi Chakravarthy announced that he had begun works for his second directorial venture; however, he had not finalised the lead actor. The project was reported to feature either Vijay or Rajinikanth as the leading actor.[1]
