The Siege of Shkodër in 168 BC was a pivotal confrontation between the Roman Republic and the Illyrian kingdom. The Roman victory led to the fall of the Illyrian kingdom, marking a significant expansion of Roman influence in the region ^[1] ^[2] ^[3] ^[4] ^[5] ^[6] ^[7]but this wasn't the end of the illyrians illyrian kindoms and tribes continued to exist after the Illyro-Roman Wars the last illyrian kindom to fall was the Kingdom of Dardania that fell in 28 BC [5]
